Another hard to find book from Old South Books. It is believed that there are less than 20 copies of the original published book in existence. This book is a copy of the journal published in the late 19th century of W. W. Heartsill's time in the service of the Confederate Army in F Company of the 2nd Regiment of the Texas Mounted Rifles. Interesting point of view as Heartsill served in Texas as a ranger and dealt with American Indians, later to serve farther east in Arka...
